Me (Valeria) and Arianna live in Grosseto, in the same area. Our area is quite green, because there is a park and a football field, but there are also many trees and many meadows.
In our neighbourhood, unfortunately, there aren't many litter on the ground, but the people sometimes leave their things (chairs, sofas, armchairs, frigos, ovens, bycicles..) next to the rubbish skips, even if they have used them just a bit.
The last week we saw next to a rubbish skip a new armchair.
We wondered why this person threw it away, we were amazed about the waste that there is sometimes.
Before we throw away something, we think about it. For example, we often write on both sides of a piece of paper.
About the environment, we try to don't pollute it. We sometimes go to somewhere on foot and, in summer, we ride bycicle. We do the waste separation, a very important thing.
Environment is around all of us, we mustn't pollute it!
